Alao Olatimileyin Kennedy aka Egun Nla. Rising Profile Of a New Breed Politician In Oyo State

With with 2019 still a long way ahead, new breed politicians are stemming up across the country to take over the mantle of leadership in various political posts come the 2019 election year.

The Youths are now actively getting involved in mainstream politics which is a good omen for our growing democracy.

In Oyo state, one young man, Alao Timi Kennedy stands out among the new breed politicians and he has already taken the political scene by the storm and fast becoming the toast of many in political circles with his rising profile.

Many see him as the man to take Oyo State to the promised land with his leadership qualities and grassroots affiliate. His contributions to the development of his locality has been immense and he has greatly empowered so many youths in one way or the other.

Who is Alao Olatimehin Kennedy?

Born four decades ago into a polygamous family, Timi as he is fondly called is an Ibadan indigene from Balogun Olaogun's Compound, Ori-Eru, in Ibadan North/West L.G.A. He is the last child of his mother who hails from Aghenebode in Edo state.

His education started from Ilorin in kwara State where he would later go on to graduate from the prestigious University of Ilorin.

Timi i would say was born with politics in his blood, he took keen interest in politics as a young chap dating back to his secondary school days, Timi would involved in political talks and arguments that centered on governance and administration. He would go on and on to deliver his own version of Martin Luther King's ''I have a dream for Nigeria''.

He loved reading TELL Newspapers/Magazines in the 80s Just to know about the military structure of Nigeria.

While in the university, his passion for politics intensified and he was elected into his departmental exco where he would later go on to become the Director of Socials. He became a Political Analyst during his NYSC days with the help of old friends like Harry Wayo, with whom he argues politics daily.

Timi is a successful Businessman and he is the CEO of two companies and co CEO of three others, business partners with many.

His strong passion for Marketing/Sales greatly helped him alot in relating with people and preparing him fully well for politics. He had earlier tried so many things in life; played basketball, played football, but had to stop, none of those fulfilled his dream and passion as politics and his love for his people.

He is happily married to a wonderful Ibo lady and blessed with a kid.

Timi is Going for the House of Assembly in Oyo State, Ward 4, Ibadan North/west constituency but his primary aim is to become the Governor of Oyo State
