Fire guts Abubakar Audu’s Millennium Plaza in Abuja

Fire on Friday gutted the Millennium Plaza in the Central Business District of Abuja, opposite the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
The fire started at the side of the Plaza, which housed the Institute of Human Virology at 2:15pm and spread to the other building in the plaza.
The plaza, which has four buildings, belonged to the late Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu.
Besides the Institute of Human Virology, other companies in the plaza include Zenith Bank, Sky Bank and the advert unit of PUNCH Nigeria Limited.
The fire destroyed the pent house and the third floor of the building that housed the institute of human virology.
It spread to the next building and burnt the pent house and third the floor.
