Man Rapes Two Women At Once, Robs 8 People at Once…

A 27 year old man, Festus Oyetola, was on Wednesday arraigned before an Osogbo High Court for allegedly raping two women at the same time.
The accused person, who was accused of raping Oluwafikayo Oladoyinbo and Christiana at the same time, was also accused of robbing eight persons at the same place, the same day and same time.
According to the charge sheet, the accused person together with other members of his gang who are at large committed the offence at Moro in Osun State on November 27th, 2012.
The prosecutor told the court that Oyetola was heavily armed with weapons while forcefully having carnal knowledge of the two women.
He was charged with robbing eight victims, raping two women, indecent assault among other counts preferred against him.
The accused person was said to have committed offences which were contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Code, Cap R vol II Law of Federation of Nigeria,Cap 34 vol II Law of Osun State and section 358 Cap 34 vol II Law of Osun State.
Oyetola pleaded not guilty to all the charges and the presiding judge, Justice Eunice Awolalu adjourned the case to April 13.
Oyetola, who was arrested in 2012 was arraigned before a magistrate court but the magistrate remanded him in prison custody and declined justification in the case.
In a similar case, the police in Osun State has arraigned a 23 year old Olayinka Aresa before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing N20,000.00 from one Suliyat Ajibola.
The police prosecutor, Abiodun Fagboyibo, told the court that Aresa committed the offence at around 8: 40pm at Corps Lodge area of Dada Estate in Osogbo on October 16, 2015.
The prosecutor said Aresa committed felony, unlawful entrance and stealing which were offences contrary to and punishable under section 390(9) of the criminal code cap 34 vol 11 Law of Osun State Nigeria,2003.
The suspect pleaded not guilty to the three charges preferred against him.
The magistrate, Mr. Olusola Aluko, subsequently adjourned the case till Dec 12, 2016.
