Kogi Inauguration; Yahaya Bello Cries While Giving Speech

Yahaya Bello was, today, January 27, 2016, sworn in as the governor of Kogi State.Bello is said to have cried while honouring his mother during his inauguration speech.
The new governor was sworn in without a deputy due to the refusal of James Faleke to fill the position.
Faleke was originally the running mate of late APC candidate, Prince Audu Abubakar in the November 21, 2015, elections in the state.He was chosen as Bello’s running mate after Audu’s sudden death but refused to occupy the position insisting that he should be sworn in as governor instead.
