BREAKING: Supreme Court Upholds Nyesom Wike's Election As Rivers State Governor

In a unanimous Judgement the Supreme Court sitting today in Abuja set aside the decision of the Apeal Court nullifying the election of the PDP candidate Nyesom Wike held on the 11th of April 2015.

It said detailed reasons for the verdict would be provided on February 12. The Court of Appeal had on December 16 affirmed the judgment of the Rivers Governorship Election Tribunal.
