Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the APC Gurbernatorial candidate's running mate in the just concluded Kogi governorship election has been tipped by many to become the next governor of the state.
In the wake of the demise of the party's erstwhile flagbearer, Prince Audu Abubakar, who died of cardiac arrest on sunday Nov 22nd, many observers see a scenario playing out with Hon Faleke emerging as the next governorship candidate of the APC.
Hon Faleke is known not to have any political ties with Kogi State, and his nomination was believed to have been as a result of his close ties with the party leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu.

Hon Faleke is currently a second term member of the House of Representatives and he represents Ikeja federal constituency of Lagos State.
Chairman of the House Committee on Ethics, Anti-corruption and National Values in the Seventh Assembly, he was also former two time chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State as well as ex-Chairman of Conference 57, umbrella organisation for the chairmen of the 20 local governments and 37 LCDAs in Lagos State.
Will he become the next governorship candidate for APC in Kogi State?...
