It is no longer news that Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is the new Ooni of Ife but beyond that, many of us don’t seem to know anything else about him. So we are here to change that with 7 things you should know about the new Ooni.

1. Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is a 40 year old Prince of the Ojaja Royal compound of Agbedegbede in the Giesi Ruling House.

2. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

3. He is a member of many dignified professional bodies including Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoD) and he is also an Associate of Accounting Technicians.

4. He is the founder of Essential Homes, a real estate project that delivers affordable upscale homes to middle and low income earners and has in his employ over 300 youths at the Inagbe Cocowood Factory.

5. He currently owns the Inagbe Grand Resort by VIP jetty, Inagbe Island, Lagos.

6. He is on the Board of many financial institutions including Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank Limited, (formerly GTHomes), GTBank Plc and FinaTrust Microfinance Bank Limited.

7. And finally, he is the first Ooni to have a living father as all past Oonis ascended the throne after their father’s demise.
